  Exclusively for Customers aged 18 - 64 with Private Health Insurance. This product allows you to save on Travel Insurance provided that you have a certain amount of Overseas Emergency Medical Expenses cover under a private Medical Insurance Policy (e.g. Bupa, Vivas, VHI). Click here for more detail.   Backpacker Travel Insurance is designed for anyone aged 18 - 45 planning to travel the world for up to 13 months. Backpacker Travel Insurance is suitable for you if the main purpose of your trip is leisure. It covers incidental work provided this work is not the purpose of your trip. Student Travel Young Travellers
  Designed for anyone aged 18 - 45 going abroad to study, for training, or on work experience. If you are NOT on pre-arranged study, training or work experience we also offer policies for Year Out and Backpacking. If you are under 18 please refer to the Young Traveller option.  

Designed for anyone aged 15-17 going abroad for up to 13 months. The trip abroad may be for pre-arranged study, year out placements, or work experience, or backpacking. Note - Young Traveller Insurance can be purchased online by a parent or legal guardian only. It is the parent/guardian's details that must be entered for questions relating to name, address, date of birth etc in step 1 of the purchase process. Child details are required in Step 2.

Year-Out Policy 65+
  Designed for anyone aged 18 - 45 taking more than just a holiday from study or work. Perfect for organised overseas experiences such as year out placements, volunteer and project work, and work placements. Year Out Travel Insurance covers you for up to 13 months wherever you travel, as long as you are on an organised placement .   Exclusively for customers aged 65-74 years. You may only buy this insurance if you have and keep in force private medical insurance that includes Emergency Medical Expenses cover abroad. There are options to cater for various age brackets and for couples where one is younger than the other. The policy provides medical expenses cover up to €1,000,000 in excess of the private policy limit, which is usually quite low. The policy is available for single trip Holidays (excluding any business travel) for periods of up to 30 days, either Europe or Worldwide, including USA and Canada.
