Designed for anyone aged 15-17 going abroad for up to 13 months. The trip abroad may be for pre-arranged study, year out placements, or work experience, or backpacking. Note - Young Traveller Insurance can be purchased online by a parent or legal guardian only. It is the parent/guardian's details that must be entered for questions relating to name, address, date of birth etc in step 1 of the purchase process. Child details are required in Step 2. |

Backpacker Travel Insurance is suitable for you if the main purpose of your trip is leisure. It covers incidental work provided this work is not the purpose of your trip. Exclusively for customers aged 65-74 years. You may only buy this insurance if you have and keep in force private medical insurance that includes Emergency Medical Expenses cover abroad. There are options to cater for various age brackets and for couples where one is younger than the other. The policy provides medical expenses cover up to €1,000,000 in excess of the private policy limit, which is usually quite low. The policy is available for single trip Holidays (excluding any business travel) for periods of up to 30 days, either Europe or Worldwide, including USA and Canada. |
